Advanced
signal processing algorithms for wireless geolocation are developed at UPC
under the scope of the IST Project EMILY. These algorithms hybridise
terrestrial and satellite signals, and perform a smart and adaptive data fusion
of the signals exploiting the redundancy on the available data.

As a
continuation of the EMILY project, the GNSS and UMTS Technology Demonstrator (GUTD)
project aims to evaluate the feasibility of GNSS and UMTS hybridisation systems
through study and development of hybridisation functions of these complex
systems.
